ARAGOSTRONZIANITE UV FLUORESCENT BOCCHEGGIANO - 17 x 11 x 10 cm
One of the most beautiful samples of Aragostronzianite ever seen, coming from the famous Pozzo Ballarino in Boccheggiano from Tuscany. There is an intense red-pink fluorescence with long-wave ultraviolet rays, but also a red-pink short-wave fluorescence of lower intensity (see the last photos in the list). it consists of 2 large concretions, which show the internal stratification. Each layer represents a different moment of deposition and / or different elements dissolved in the crystalline structures which lead to different intensity of fluorescence. Below it is clearly visible a green layer (in natural light) and an intense red - pink with a long wave of crystallization and / or still different composition. Extraordinary sample, unique in its kind, very rare and with beautiful and bright colors; suitable for important and museum collections.
